It all started when I found a vintage fifties waistcoat from a two piece beach set. I bought a pattern, redesigned it, and with the help of some afro-print fabric, a waistcoat was born! Now, I have lots of these babies that I hate to see leave the nest (unless replaced by an appropriate amount of cash, of course..)

I’d say inspiration comes from artists like M.I.A (just without the neon. I. hate. neon!)

The fabrics are internationally sourced, with help from friends’ families living in places like India and Capetown. My logo was taken from my doodlings on a Costa coffee napkin and has since been slapped everywhere unashamedly.
